Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, traveled to Golestan Province this morning to evaluate the progress made in the affairs set in the previous trip to the province. Pointing out the advancements of the province in the field of science and technology, Sattari stated: Golestan province is moving forward in the field of science; But given the high capacity of the province, we expect this movement to accelerate.

According to the president of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy, everyone, from the Vice-Presidency to provincial authorities, must make efforts to accelerate this movement. We must make more use of the high capacities of this province.

The vice president considered the assessment of the affairs set in the previous trip as the most important priority of this travel, asserting: in this one-day trip, we will try to make new decisions in the field of development of knowledge-based companies in the province, in addition to reviewing the progress of the approvals of the previous trip.

The president of the national elites foundation appreciated the efforts of the authorities and governor of Golestan province for the technological development of the province, affirming: the general culture of technology and innovation ecosystem must be formed within the province in order to accelerate technological measures.

Sattari said about knowledge-based companies: at present, about 5,400 knowledge-based companies have been formed in the country. These companies have made good progress in this field, the effects of which are well visible in the society.
